YESTERDAY MORNING'S GALLOPS

The morning was again dull at Ric-cart-Dii. Hermia ran six furlongs in 1.20 1-5. Vice-Admiral and Allegory finiohed strongly over the last half-mile of two steady circuits. Lady Lucy ran a mile and a Quarter, the last mile taking 1.50 2-5. Ja.son beat Tatterly over half a mile in 50 soes. The former looks, in light condition, while the latter is an improving colt. Crown Pearl did a circuit, going freely. Theodore covered five furlongs in 1.5, Ventura four in 49. Goldfinder and Midnight Sun were together at the end of « mile in 1.46, the former pleasing. White Cockade jumped four flights of hurdles well. Golden Loon jumped indifferently, but did better in a subsequent circuit. North-east and I'hroso took 1 mm. 19 seen, to cover six furlongs. Gunflash galloped five furlongs in 1 mm. 5 2-5 sees.
About CO horses arrived from tho north to-day, most of which were shut out of the Maori on Monday night.
