TILE MARCONI CONTRACT
(United Press Assofin+inn.-— CoovrigTif ) LONDON, Oct. 29.' Mr King, secretary of the Past Office, testifying before tho Marconi committee, admitted that the Marconi co. receives £30.000 annually, while tho Poulsen syndicate offered to construct stations for £36,000 each, without further cost. He said the Government was not satisfied that Poulsen's were able to do the work, or it would have accepted the offer. If the Government had waited 12 months, Marco.ni might have, made other contracts preventing a complete agreement with Britain.
