FIRES.
AT DUNEDIN. (Per Press Association."; DUNKM.N, October 29. A fire broke out this morning at Dr. Howard's eleven-roomed residence in ' Forbury Itoad. Seven rooms with tlieir ' contents were destroyed, this being the ontiro upstairs portion. The insurances were—Building £750, in the Canterbury Farmers' Co-onerative; tho contents £300 in the Alliance, which is probably 75 per cent, of the loss. It is i conjectured that the lire was caused ' by tho fusion of electric wires.
