At Kiccarton this morning the w.vthcr was foggy, but improved. Maste" piece beat Autumnus over ten furlongs in 2.15, Vice Admiral' and Allegory did nine furlongs, the last eight in 1.46J, the latter jrointx the better of the two. Heatherbrae beat Winning Way ovr six furlongs j n l.ig 3.5. Soldiers' Chorus did seven furlongs in 1.31 2-5. The fog prevented timing before breakfast.
Crown Pearl, Goldfinder, Black Tudor, Sinapis, Theodore, Martel, Ventura, Midnight Sun, Tatterley, Jason, Early Morn, Crosbie. and Mow bray arrived from Wellington this morning. Owing to the .ferry steamer miking 'an excursion to Picton there was not sufficienttime available to ship the whole consignment. About fifty horses will arrivo to-morrow.
