Arapawa, s.s., Wellington, to-day. Stormbird, s.s., Wellington, to-day.

Yesterday being Labour Day, there was no work done at the local wharf. There were no arrivals or departures. The Waimea, due at Nelson on Friday for'Onehunga, is to lay up at the former port for overhaul. The coastal steamer Storm arrived at Wellington on Sunday evening from Lyttelton, and will sail to-day for Picton and Wanganui. The Storm is expected to arrive here to-morrow morning from Picton.

Thero is no further information concerning the position of the Weka, ashore at Pora-ngahau. Messrs. Richardson and Co. are waiting for the sea to go down before making an attempt to refloat the vessel, says the Napier "Telegraph" of Saturday last.
