Tho above meeting was held yesterday. Tho weather was perfect, and the attendance one of the largest ever seen on the course. The race-track was in good condition, and tho racing of a very high order. Starter Skipwith has seldom been seen to such advantage with the barrier, all of his starts being near perfect. The racing officHls carried out their duties in a praisew/rtliy manner, and a large sum, amounting to over £13,000, was put through the machine. In the handling of this amount, the totalisator proved to be totally inadeouate. Tho Marton Brass Rind enlivened the proceedings with a good programme of music. The following are the results:—
