COMMISSIONER RICHARDS.

Commissioner Richards, of the Salvation Army, is at present on a v_sit to Wanganui along with the headquar-tei-s tsaff. So far, while here, he lias had a busy time. He conducted the soldiers' meeting on Saturday night, and yesterday the 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. services in the Army Hall, and the 7 p.m. service in the Opera House. This evening, in the barracks, he will deliver an interesting address on "South African Native Work," a subject about which the Commissioner knows a great deal, as lie had charge of the Army work in that interesting country for seven years.
