CHILD BURNED TO DEATH.
I CARTERTON, Oct. 26. A .little girl named Mary Jane Rayner, the infant daughter of Frank Rayner, T-e Whiti, near Gladstone, ■ was burned to death, yesterday", It is presumed that she was playing with matches. Her parents were out milking. When they returned, the child was in flames and shockingly burnt. She succumbed to her injuries a few hours 'later. . '
