SATURDAY'S PLAY.
Tho unsettled state of the weather again impressed itself upon cricketers last Saturday afternoon, when the Cup fixtures were resumed. After about an hour's play in some of the matches, and less than that in others, the rain showed no signs of abating, so stumps were drawn for the day at- about 3-40. On Cook's No. 1. Wanganui A. had lost three for 36 in their match with College B. On the next wicket, against A ram oho, St. Paul's had four down for 62. The other senior game. College A. \. Wanganui B-, was also stopped just after the game had commenced, Wanganui losing 2 for 22. The junior match, College v. Technical College, played on the former's ground, was also, stopped by the downpour. The St. Paul's A.-St. Paul's B. junior match '.vas postponed in the forenoon, on account of the condition of the Technical Co Ik-go ground.
