Wo held our usual monthly sale of wool, skins, hides, etc., on Thursday last, tho 24th inst., to a good attendance of buyers. Bidding was animated throughout', practically everything being sold under the hammer.
Wool. —Only small offering. Medium crutchings 53d., dead wool 7d.
Skins. —Sold well up to recent rates. Fino crossbred Bd., medium crossbred 7£d., coarse crossbred 6£d. to 7fd., halfwoolfl 6£d., quarter-wooLs~4£d. to 5Jd., short-wools 4d. to s£d., dead skins 6Jd., broken 4£d. to 6§d-, inferior 2£d. to 4\d., light damp ss. 7d. each.
Tallow.—Casks in shipping order. F.;ir quality £27 10s. per ton.' Tins £25 ss. oer ton.
Hides. —Showed a slisrht advance on recent rates, especially for lighter Tines. Abbatoir ox (mcd.) 7£d.. butchers' ox 6 5-Bd. to 7Jth, settlers 6ld. to 7 1-8(1., abbatoir cow« 7sd., butchers' cows 0 7-Bd. to 7d.. exit hides 6d. to 6£d., horse-hides (cut) 3s. fid. to 65., calf-skins 9d. to 9 5-Bd/
