TURKS LEAVE AMMUNITION AND

FOOD

SOFIA, Oct. 25

After the capture of Kirk Kilisse, the Turks retired to Burnahissar (25 kilometres to the south-east), leaving 16 ammunition waggons and much food. The first reports of the capture of Kirk Kilisse caused vast crowds of demonstrators, bearing the flags of the allies, to march to the Palace and the Legations, a. party of Scouts heading the processions.

Panis, the Greek Minister, was carried shoulder-high.
