SERVIANS CAPTURE NOVIBAZAR.

BELGRADE, October 23. It is officially stated that there has been severe fighting round the town of Novibazar, where the Servians occm>y commanding heights. Tho Turks at Kumanovo destroyed tho chief bridge and many smaller ones over the Maritza were also destroyed, but the Servian sappers repaired tliem. The second army has occupied Straenica, half-way between Egripalp.nka and Kumanovo. BELGRADE, October 23. It is officially stated that the Servianl;' third army has captured Novibazar after stubborn fighting.

(Novibazar is the principal strategic position and most important town in Northern Albania, and its capture gives tho confederates command of the whole of the country between Servia and Montenegro. At Novibazar, Austrian and Turkish authority meet, and this important position has for some timo been coveted by Austria.)
