FRUITGROWERS' CONFERENCE.

At tho Fruitgrowers' Conference a, resolution in favour of reciprocity with ■Canada similar to that between New Zealand and-Canada was carried. A deputation, including New Zealand representatives, was appointed to ask the Steamship Owners' Association to make better provision for the carriage of fruit, with special fruit chambers.
