Before the Dominions Commission, a number of prominent business men gave evidence in favour of the -Government co-operating in trade marks and the exhibition of the wrongful marking of foreign goods. Mr. Umney urged the -desirability of cultivating raw material and oil distillation in the Dominions. Mr. Stanley Machan advocated, the further growing of oranges, citrons and lemona in Australia, also fruit pulp.
