HUNTLY MINERS WILL TAKE A DAY OFF.
AUCKLAND, October S. The Huntly miners resolved to ta!.i> « day off on Thursday to join in ibj demonstration against the imprisonment of, Waihi strikers. The Taupiri Coal Company directors meet this afternoon to consider the position. There is a. strong feeling in various federated Unions antagonistic to the movement, and it is very doubtful if the demonstration will bo a success in any great measure.
