BRITAIN'S ADVICE TAKEN BY THE POWERS.

LONDON, October 8. In conveying Britain's assent, the Hon. Bertie (British Ambassador at Pans) indicated the preference of the Foreign Office for individual, rather than collective', representations, jam the ground that the latter being (unusual, would have the aspect of a threat. The pmnt was apparently conceded, as the Temps" regrets that the action of the Powers is to be concerted instead of collective, since, in the course of the isolated conversation. Turkey may find divergent views tending to diminish the authority of the advice given.
