INCIDENT TO THE V.M.C.A. CAM-
PAIGN
OCT. B—l6
11. TO THE EMPLOYER OF JL
WANGANUI BOY
Dear Sir, — Suppose a young man in your employ, a stranger in the city, asked you thifl question: "Can you tell me, sir, where I will meet good friends and make the most of my evenings?" What would you say? Wouldn't you tell him to go to the V.M.C.A.? And wouldn't you wish to have that V.M.C.A. building so attractive, so well equipped, and so full of Jiife that your employee would go again and again, and finally become a responsible member? Of course you would. The efficiency of the boys and young men in your employ depends very largely on the way they spend their out-of-business hours. Then isn't there a possible connection between O UK efficiency and progress and the efficiency of your business? Just think it through and tell us if we are wrong. If wo aro right, will you bear a part in opening the new building free of debt? It will stand for- the public spirit of citizen1? and the improvement of Wanganui's best asset —its young men. Faithfully vonrs, THE SECRETARIES.
