£14 TO £28 PER COW. Kairanga land has been much sought after this season, and us high as £70 per acre has been paid for dairy land. The big price is the result of the high rates paid for buttor fat. Tho bast of tho land has a carrying capacity of one cow to two acres., and according to statisticians, the gross returns last season ranged from £14 to £28 per cow.
