The report for the week endine the 13th inst. is as follows:—At Feilding on Friday we had a fair entry of sheep and a heavy yarding of cattle. We .succeedo'.l in quitting; the whole of our entry of sheep and all the cattle with the exception of one pen. We quote n<^ follows :^-Fat and forward ewes 11s., fat wethers 13s. 4d., empty ewes ss. 4d. to 10s. 5d.. aged ewes ss. 4d.. mixed lambs 6s. 2d. to 95., 2-year old «teer-. £2 os.. weaner steers 275. 6d. to £2 Is., mixed weanevs 245. F>d. td--315., woaner lieifera 375. 6d.,. heifers £2 165., £3, to £3 7s. heifers, in calf £4 7s. 6cl. to £/>, fat cows £4 11s. to £5 65.. £o 12s. 6d.. to £6, bulls £2.
At Apiti on Wednesday we had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle. All elassff. sold ttowll lat^late rates. , We Quote: —Fat and forward ewes 9s. 3d., 10s. 6d.Vlos. 9d.» to 21s. 3d., a.m. owe* in lamb Os.. 2-tooth wethers 125., good wether lambs Bs. 2d. to Bs. 3d., mra lambs' 9.5., empty s.m. ewes 85.,, pigs slips 10s. 6d., weaners Bs. 6d., cows in calf £4_ 17s. 6d., empty store rows £2 10s., mixed weanere 305.: 325., ■to 335., weaner steers 3os. to £2, forward cows £4 Bs. 6d. to £4 155., fat cows £5 10s.
