PROPOSAL
LONDON, April 5
The Church, of Scotland has issued a memorandum on reunion, recognising that one of the obstacles in the way of union lies in the exclusive recognition of the national chucrh. The memorandum declares that it is undesirable to have a statutory disclaimer in regard to State recognition of the Church of Scotland. However, it Ivill Only accept' union if the United Free Church and the Government conserve the; Endowments for the united church.
