THE RAILWAY HALL
Thq saying "All things come to them who wait" is. as a general rule, comfortless, for the waiting is ant to be long and weary. When, however, the waitings brings its reward, and the l-eward proves to be worth the waiting, congratulations are appropriate and pleasant. For many years past the local iailwaymen have felt tho need for a
hall •to which they might repair for social and business purposes. Such/ah assembly place was certainly much required, for there is no larger or,more important class of public servants thin the' •enployees of the Railway Department. Some time "ago the local men's request for a hall was acceded to, and, in due course, the building has made its appearance. , On $aturday evening it. was officially .opened, and we must congratulate all concerned on the fulfilment of their desires. The building is well suited to the purposes for which it is intended, and we hope that it may be the scene of many a, pleasant re* union arid the centre from which shall radiate resolutions for the good of the service and the public generally. ,
