A protest was entered dgaintt thedecision in the Quickstep Competftion. An announcement was made: at the Show grounds to the effect that Woolston won, but this wasamended by a subsequent recount. A. protest was entered by the Woolston Band who objected to the i-ecouDt being made in the al.f>ence of representatives of each. band. \
