HAYWARD'S PICTURES.
The weather was boisterous and miserable last evening,- but the Lyceum Theatre contained a comfortable and "happy audience. Patrons of this popular placo of amusement were treated to one of Hayward's best programmes. A most interesting Subject was "Kadiography in Practice," This is a study of the articulations of a living subject cinematographed directly on tho screen by means of X rays. The various pictures include the wrist, the hand in a rubber glove, sicle view of the knee, the front view of the knee and the foot. A rb-• markable-picture shows us the guinea? pig's digestive organs and its move-. mentis under the X rays. The respiration of a monkey and the disappearing bird are two pictures which conclude this unique film. An historical film is "The Death of King Edward III." The 'film depicting the decease of the old warrior is well acted and well screened. Two thrilling Western dramas are the "Cattlo Rustler's End" and "The Regeneration of 'Apache Kid,' " the. latter . commencing with the tragic fate oF some of tho earlier pioneers, and concluding with the equally tragic end of "Apache Kid," a white man who was captured in childhood and lived a reck- ; losr.jfo among the murderous Indians, ' Lut who is eventually captured, regenerated, falls in Wo. fails in his suit.ami —suicides. "An Old Man's Folly" is another lino drama " Pathe's Gazette is. as usual, topical and interesting, and there arc the usuai amusing ■ comics. Tho nrojzramme will be screened again to-nisht.
