The children of Wanganui now look forward to Saturday afternoon even more than they did in bye-gone years. .The attraction is the matinee perform-
: ances given by Hay ward's Pictures at tho Lyceum. Every Saturday afternoon the building is packed by young folk, who are invariably given an ex* cellerit pictorial treat: Saturday afternoon was no exception to the rule, the building holding a large number of delighted children. In the evening there was the usual full>:Jibuse. Another fine programme was shown, embracing all classes of kinernatographic subjects. An interesting scene was one depicting Sweden and the northeriuost town in Europe.. The dramas were a capital lot and "Pathe'sGazette" was an interesting number. »Tho comics served to keep the audierico in good humour. j CHANGE OF PROGRAMME. i This evening a complete change of programme will be put on, when some very fine pictures will be shown.
