One half of the reservoir at, Clifton (Bumner) burst yesterday afternoon and about 50.000 gallons of water were lost. The force of the water hurled a piece of concrete, weighing live tons, down the hill for 100 or 200 yards. The bursting of the reaervoir is attributed to faulty workmanship. According to the Mayor of Suinner it will be necessary' to have the whole of the reservoir rebuilt.
