The Duke of Connaiight, speaking at his reception at Parliament Buildings, alluded to the remarkable prosperity of the Dominion. He paid a tribute co Earl Grey for ■making Canada better known in the Old Country, and said that he realised his great difficulty in following one who has doiio so much.
