PIRATES (22) v. KAIERAU (Nil).

The result of this game was never in doubt from the kick-off, and Pirates had the advantage in both halves. The winners' ■score was made up of five

tries, two of which were converted, and a goal from a; mark. Kaierau had a weak team, half of them being thirds who had taken part in tho previous game, and Pirates' score should have been more than it was. Mr McDonald made a fine referee. The match was played on the Old College ground.
