CHRIST CHURCH.
A large congregation, including a big muster of the Territorials (W'anganui liifles), under Major Batten, filled Christ Church yesterday inorning for divine service. Yen. Archdeacon Jacob conducted the service, which was adopted.from the form commended by the Archbishops,; of Canterbury . and York for general ? .use on the occasion Appropriate j^ahns and. hymns were sung, artd the service .concluded with, the singing of the National Anthem, to which the following' verse Hvas added :— All praise aiid thanks to God, Th 9 Father now be given, The Son and Him Who i-eigns With Them in. highest Heaven. The One Eternal God, Whom earth and heav'n adore, For thus it was, is now, v A»d shall be evermore. t .. .'■■... - ,;i.; a-.-;.: . ■"■ •'-■- Amen.. j At tho conclusion of the service the i organist; Mr T. fC; Webb, played Meyerbeer's Coronation March on the organ. • ■.■"■ ;•*" .
