School kicked off. From the line out Wanganui started a passing rush, but j> good pass from B'addeley went astray. To Auto then crept up, but a free kick relieved the blues. lEpeli' headed a forward rush, but Awhitu found the line. A mark by Mio on the wing gave Te Aute a change to goal, but' the ball fell short; Baddeley getting in a fine line kick. The reds rushed and carried play to Wangamii's line, and from a scrum Mio scored in the corner. The ball again fell short. From the kick-off Wanganui rushed and mond scored. He took the kick himself, and was successful.. Wanganui 5 ; To Ante 3. A passing rush by Te Auto • went out close to Wangaimi's line. A beautiful passing rush by Wanganui was rewarded, Elder getting over near the corner. The kick failed. Wauga--nui 8, Te Auto 3. The bluies kept on 1 lie; attack, and Te Aute had to force. The i-et!s«came away-with, a forward ru.sh, and a free kick to~Te Ante was .smothered. Wanganui relieved 'and' came down field, some beautiful play resulting! but ijhe tackling of Te Aute was too deadly. A fine passing bout ibv the reds carried.:-play to Wanganui's corner. The r latter relieved find r.fter some interesting play broug'it theball to Te Aute's line, and Cowper got over. The kick failed. Wanganui ill. Te Ante 3.
