The Hon. C. F. G. Masterman's seat has boen declared void, though Mr Masterman is held to have been faultless in regard to the charge of bribery.

In delivering judgment in the "West Ham election petition, both - JiMg^s paid a high tribute to Mr Masterman.

It is understood that Mr Masterman will retain the Undef-Seeretaryship, .lv another seat will be found for him ay the earliest opportunity. ■ v . "
