CONSTANTINOPLE^ June 13. The Sultan had an exciting.experience on Friday. He was driving to the mosque when fifteen Kurds made a rush at his carriaofo.
Mahomed, of course, was thoroughly ' alarmed,« and spring out of the carliage, thinking, as everyone did who witnessed tho incident, that an attempt was being made to assassinate him. Tho Kurds were instantly seized by the escort, but it turned out that thoy had come' from Erzeruro,' in Armenia, and that* they had nothing moredead']y* than- a petition to fire at -their, mighty, ruler. • -■>•., - !
