CHAMPION HOLDS A RECEPTION
LONDON, June 13. Despite throats of a-tions for breaches of contracts when in England several years ago, Jack Johnson has kept his promise to witness tho Coronation ceremonies, and, together with his wife, he arrived in London to-day from New York. The tremendous reception which the champion had was anticipated by the authorities, and special police guards were provided to keep the crowds in check. ■ Thousands of people greeted the ar-, rival of tho boat, and when Johnson climbed in his motor-car to drive to a gorgeous suite of rooms in fhe Alexandra Mansions, they clustered roun-'i ip such numbers that the police had to force a passage to allow of the vehicla going through. --■On arrival at tho Mansions the' Coloured pugilist hold-a'reception, 'which ' ftta'n\' ."notable people' attended? --■ ( ** '■ T The -champion Mias been ('presented with two tickets to view the Coronation by Lord Lonsdale.
