TARANAKI v. WANGANUI
The selectors have- picked the following team* to play Taranaki at Hanvera on the 22nd inst.:— ,
Goal, Eadie; backs, Thompson and Hoddle j half-backs, Berry, Waller, and Shewan (capt.); "forwards, Puckeridge, E. Beckett,.. GiUison, Jack, and A. Phillips. Emergencies: Forwards, Heaiwp, Pomphrey; Backs, Matthews, Rountrfte, and Bauckham. The team will travel by the 6.40 a.m. train on Thursday, and any of the players mentioned who,will be unable to play will please advise" tho secretary as early as possible.
"Soccer" enthusiasts aro' reminded of a practices to-morrow afternoon.
