MOTOR V CART.

TIMARU, June 15
An unlighted trap, said to be going fast, met a motor-car on the road near Levels station to-night. The car thrust the horse into a fence and killed it. The cart ivas smashed and the car very much damaged. O. Gosling who was in the cart escaped apparently unhurt. Two men were in the fjar—E. Reid anr' J. Shallcrass (of Guiness and I.ecrens). The former was driving and had his arm broken and was also seriously injured internally. The latter received some cuts and was badly shaken. '
