LABOUR TROUBLES.
THE CROW'S NEST STRIKE.
(United Press Association .-r-Oopyriclit.) OTTAWA, April 11.
The Western Canada coal-owners who are affected by the Crow's Nest strike have informed the Labour Department that they -will welcome the' proposal of Government interference with a view to compulsory arbitration. The owners previously'offered arbitration, but the miners refused.
SOUTH WALES COALFIELDS
GENERAL STOPPAGE IMMINENT.
Received April 12. 9.5 p.m. LONDON, April 12. A general stoppage of work on the South Wales coalfields is imminenet.
