THE CROW'S NEST STRIKE.

The Western Canada coal-owners who are affected by the Crow's Nest strike have informed the Labour Department that they -will welcome the' proposal of Government interference with a view to compulsory arbitration. The owners previously'offered arbitration, but the miners refused.

GENERAL STOPPAGE IMMINENT.
