CHRISTCHURCH, March 22. flic Hon. T. Mackenzie has received the following telegraphic reports as to the frujj crops in the north of Auckland: Peaches are nearly over. Late apples are in fair supply. Pears are iight: In the south of Auckland Japanese plums are good, English/moder-c'-te; for nectarines and peaches there has been a good season, apples are good, though the late sorts are affected by the dry weather; pears are below "»« average. J n Hawke's Bay and Wellington East ;|lm et/me fruit is nearly done. The late rains have-bene-fited the apples and pears, which are plentiful and of good quality. In Taranaki the ncars and apples are i&irly good. In kelson the late peaches are heavy, apples are good and peaches fair to average. In Maryborough late apples are limited and pears good: otiher apples Very'"light, 'and p Sarg light. In Otagjci and Southland sione fruit is about finished. Pears are fair, apples very light.
