MATAONGAONGA ROAD BOARD.
At the last meeting of the Mataongaonga Road Board there were present: Messrs F. H. Allen (chairman), Rice, and G. W. Anderson. " It was. decided o consist rthe Board's solicitors re action to be taken by the Board in the way of producing evidence regarding; the boundary roads to plare before the Commissioner. A circular was received from tho Tourist Department! Hequeßtins; the Board to erect finccer-uosts where neeess"rm for the Suida«ce of tourists. ~ r Y e 9l er!lC w:us instructed to find out it the Government bad completed the purchase of the portion of the Lon^ Aero Road passing through Mr Mcdrail s property, and to urge (if the rrater has not yet been completed) that there bo no further delay. I.he bank-book showed the followmobalances: General account, cr. £244 14s 4d; loan account. £24 13s Bd. Accounts amounting to £13 5s Id were passed for ppyment. Rates outstanding rrom 1907----ISOB, amounting to £27 Is 7d and Is 6d rates, outstanding from 1908-1i909, were written off.
