THE WANGANUI CONVENTION.

At the usual Wanganui convention prayer meeting, held at St. Paul's on Saturday night,, it was announced that the dates for the forthcoming Wanganui convention were fixed for May 2nd to Cth, and that the Rev. H. B. Gray and Pastor Mallis had been invited to come* as the speakers. It was arranged that next Saturday night's meeting will be led by Mr Cuttle.

Mr J. Wallace, Secretary of the local Tent Independent Order of Reehabites, has received a cable from Mr W. C. Churchill, P.H.C.R., who is at present touring Australia, consenting to lecture in they Opera House when he visits Wanganui next April. Mr. Churchill is recomended as a splendid platform speaker, and as he lias just finished a tour of India and Australia, he should give an interesting addreiss.
