THE LYCEUM.

Another lprge audience assembled" atths Lyceum last evening, when the programme presented for the first timo on Saturday night was repeated. Included in the new programme are some real gems, amongst which may be mentioned "The Me&sage of the Violin," "The Baby Breadwinners," and "The: Master oi: the Quarries," a thrilling story of rovtmge, murder, and detection. Two solendid scenic films were shown, that of "A Tour through the Italian Alps" giving tho audience glimpses of soma splendid mountain .scenery, and "Bron>. c,ho Breaking" showed the methods of breaking in horses1 in the Argentine. The British Army manoeuvres are parlicuhirly interesting and instructive. Th« comics are a fine lot and catised much laughter. The Garden Fete picture was again much admired, as was Mr Newham's pictino of the recent Feilding Show, which was screened for the first time. This is a splendidl picture in every .way. The Grand Parade is a particularly good feature. This fine programme will-be repeated this evening, and will, no doubt, draw another large audience. ;

On Thursday evening Hay ward's Pictures will give a splendid benefit night in aid of the funds of the Wanganui Beautifying-Sotie^y. The Garden Fete pictures will be included in the- programme. The bos plan for this benefit is now rapidly filing at H. I. Jones and Sons, and those intending to give their patronage would do well to secure seats at once.
