On the 14th inst., at our Wa verier horse sale, we had .a good attendance of buyers. Unbroken draughts and half draughts suitable for the Australian markets sold in vendors' favour. Light horses somewhat hard to quit. On 15jth inst.. at our Wanganui stock tale, v,-e had heavy yarding, viz / 800 sheep,. 500 head of cattle, land 90 pigs. The attendance was good, and although only-a fewj.pens of cattle were sold at the auction, we quitted th© bulk of the yarding after the sale at satisfactory prices. A large yarding of sheep weve offered, and 5000 were sold at prices m buyers' favour. Pigs, no quotable change. On the ]6th inst., at our Waverley snle, we had a full yarding, viz., 5,000 sheep and 200 head of cattle. Owinoto the dry weather, the demand for sheep was not keen; however, the bnlk or vh* entry was sold before the day closed. Cattle sold at ruling prices On tlie lSfch inst., at our Wanganui hors© saile, we submitted over 120 suitable horses for Bhipre-ent to Australia made full values, but hacks and light horses were very little in demand.
