SCOUT CADETS.

Seeing that the New Defence 4ct comes into force shortly it is worth while lads between the age of 14 and 18 to note that the above corps is getting into full swing. In this corps besides doing the ordinary drill the members can follow eojurses of instruction in life-saving ambulance work and many other useful arts. All those intending to become members should note that if they join before the Act comes into force they will hold priority over those who only join when compelled. Later it may' be necessary to form more than one company, and then smart lads knowing their drill will have a chance of. gaining a non-coms, rank. All intending members should present themselves at- the ChristChurch schoolroom on Wednesday nights where they will be enrolled.
