EGMONT-WANGANUI HUNT C&UB
MEETING
Waterworks 11.0, was accidentally omitted from the list of horses weighted in the Hunters' Hurdle Race at the Egmont-Wanganiii Hunt Club meeting, which takes place next Thursday. Considering-that there are so many unknown quantities amongst the nominations for a hunt meeting, Mr Morse appeare to have made a very equitable adjustment, and the acceptance list on Monday night should show very few malcontents.
Owners are reminded that-the acceptances close with the secretary on Monday night, and all these who have not sent full particulars of colours, •etc..
would save the secretary a lot of trouble by sending all particulars when accepting. In addition to the trophies advertiss^ in tlw) programme, the President-of th^e Club, Mr Wm. Brewer, will present the rider of the "winner of the Hunt Cup with a gold medal, whilst Mr Bremer will donate a gold medal to the rider of the winner of the Bracelet, and Mr Frank Moore is presenting a-trophy to cho member of the Egmiont-Wanganui Hunt who rules his own horse into the best position in any one of the 'four Hunters' Races. The idea of this is to encourage owners to rid© their own horses, and will no doubt infuse a good interest into the several events.
