TO-MORROW'S SERVICES
Thb Baptist Sunday School celebrate their 26bh anniversary. Special services will bo held during, the day at 11 a.m.., 3 p.m., and 7. p.m., when, the speaker will be the Rev. John. La Frd, of New Plymouth. The scholars aro rendering special hymns, and will be assisted by an efficient orchestra.
The R.-ev..J. .A. Luxford's subjects tomorrow at Trinity Wesleyan Church are morning: "The Fickle Church of the N.T." Evening :.'•■''Threie-distorted views oi: Jesus."
On Sunday the -services, at the Aramoho Wesleyan^ Chiiireb will be taken by Mr Horsley in the morning, and the Rev. E. D. Patchett in the evening. Mr F. Whitloek will preach'at Maxwelltown in thb evening, and the Rev. E. D. Patchett at Brunswick at 2.30 p.m. The Theosophical Society continua their Sunday evening meetings in the Rutland Chambers, .Ridgway Street, ay Avhich^on© of- the Adyar lectures deli_veil^ed by Mrs Besant will be read, entitled "The Nieoessity of Reincarnation "
At the Salvation Army Hall to-mor-row, Colonel Knight, the Chief Officer for the North Island, will be conducting meetings all day. He is well known in this town, and his vast and long experience makes him popular wherever ho goes. ' Undoubtedly he ranges amongst the best as an orator, and will no doubt be well received by the Wanganui people. The Colonel will be assisted by Captain Keiieke, the assistant to Adjutant Powick. Of course, all are welcome to these meetings.
