The many friends of Mr J. W. Emmersori, of WaverLsy, will be pleased to hear that he is progressing favourably after the operation he recently underwent in a local private hospital. Mr Leo Wilson, of Okoia, leaves today for Sydney at the invitation of the New South Wales Alliance to take part in .the forthcoming no-licence campaign. Mr Wilson was on Tuesday evening presented by Okoia residents with a, travelling-bag as a token of their esteem.
