ZEALANDTA PICTURES.

An excellent audience greeted the change of pictures by the above management la3t evening, and judging by the frequent applause of the audience, tbe people were quite satisfied. The pictures are' well selected.. "Cork-mak-ing" was an excellent industrial subject. Dramatic siibjects were Avell to the fore, viz., -"Two Sons" (a parody on the Prodigal Son), "Heir of Claven Court Castle," well acted and carried out in the magnificent surroundings of an old baronial castle, "His Lost Love," and "A Diver's Remorse." The comics caused roars of laughter.

During the evening Mr Stirton, on behalf of the Company, presented Mr G. Copley with a memento of his attempt to break the record for pianoplaying. Mr Copley, replying to the presentation, repudiated "the rumour that I*9 had been drugged., and thanked Mr Stirton for his care and attention.
