Captain Campbell, of the Bth Argylls, won a bronzo medal in the first stage with 104 out of a possible 105. Westx*a,lian Halligan made 103.

Besides Halligan eight Aiistralians aro entitled to coidpete in the second stage of the King's Prize. Armstrong and Grant, 101; Boyd and Gualliford, fj9 ; Palbeaiv ;. Cutler. Williams, and i3urgoynD, 9/\ Masefield, and Cycles (New Zealanders), 98 and 97, also compete. Pye and Haliigan Avon priz>es in the Duke of Cambridge competition.
