The lnd.is is abnormally swollen, and is owing through the city of Deragha-s-.ikhan, Punjab. Practically one-third of the city is in the river. Houses, temples, and mosques are falling rapidly, and hundreds have been rendered homeless. The damage will run into many lakhs.
