ING

There should be a large attendance at St. Paul's Hall this evening, when Mr R. McNab, M.A., LL.B., will lecture on historical events >cf early New Zealand, in aid of fuuds for the erection, of a memorial to Captain Cook. The memorial is to be placed on the highest point of M'otu Ngara, an island adjacent to Queen, Charlotte Sound, which is so closely connected with the name'of the famous navigator.

Mr McNab is sure to give a most interesting lecture, as there are few, if any, who have so profound a knowledge of New Zealand history.
