WORLD-WIDE OBSERVATIONS. FEARS SET AT REST. GERMAN REPORTS. (United Press Association—Copyright./ BERLIN, May 19. Grerman . newspapers are publishing columns of observatory reports on the comet. "The (latent Ber;lin calculation is (that the earjth will enter in ithe tail at 4.22 on the morning of the 19th, and will pass out at 5.22. German scientists do not anticipate electric storms. Extensive arrangements have been made for chemical observations while the earth is enveloped in the tail. The Royal Prussian Meteorological Observatory, Lindenberg, has arranged for some balloon ascents, all manned by competent observei's provided with chemical, electrical, and meteorological apparatus.
