DALGETY AND CO.'S REPORT

Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cable messages from their London house under date of-the 20th inst.:—

Wool.—Sales continued firm and active, with brisk, competition. Greasy crossbred wools suitable for America show no improvement as compared with closing rates of last series.

Tallow.—Prices in general are 3d lower. .

Frozen Meat.—Market unchanged, except for old season's New Zealand lamb, small stocks of which are realising 4d to 4£d. Fair quantities of new sea" son's New Zealand North Island lamb are being sold at 4|<i to sd. Australian iamb is firm at last quotations!. Sheepskins.—Prices for merino sheepskins ars unchanged, while crossbred line sheepskins are at par to higher, and crossbred coarse, and medium skins are par to higher.
